◆Western provinces, especially Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Yunnan, tried to get special policies on total energy consumption, pollutant emissions, resource products pricing and other aspects. Common policy aspirations of these provinces is to account energy consumption during energy input process as the consumption of energy accepted provinces.

◆Recently, an official of Indonesia told the media that Indonesia planed to impose 25% export tariffs on coal and base metals in 2012, which draw waves in Chinese coal market. Many coal importers and coal consuming enterprises said that perhaps domestic procurement will replace imported coal from Indonesia.

◆Premier Wen Jiabao chaired Chinese State Council Meeting on April 13, 2012, and said that China will protect the supply of domestic oil market to keep prices relatively stable.

◆Consumer demand and the employment rate caused the rotation of U.S. gasoline prices.
