Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) held a new semester orientation for its 944 international students from 103 countries on September 3-4.

Last week, the opening ceremony for the international student freshmen of 2024 was held at the BIT Liangxiang campus in Beijing. Vice-president Wang Bo, representatives of school faculty, international student and alumni, and all international students from the Class of 2024, attended the ceremony.
Alina from Russia, a representative of the 2024 freshmen, is an undergraduate student majoring in International Economics and Trade. She said in her speech that international students will cherish their time in Beijing and enjoy the colorful campus life at BIT.
Fernando, a master's student from Ecuador studying at the School of Cybersecurity, shared details of his life at BIT and encouraged the new students to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
Through a series of lectures on the history of BIT, legal regulations and school rules, and cross-cultural communication adaptation, BIT will help the new students to integrate into the campus life smoothly and start their studying journey here.
