In view of the technical shortcomings faced by UAV around the world, such as the difficulty of preventing group strikes and the threat of electromagnetic interference or falling objects during use, and aiming at the urgent demand for highly efficient and cost-effective UAV defense and control products in the international arena, the team, based on the research of BIT’s Falcon system, the team integrated the advantages of the overall design technology of the Russian Bauman University, and implemented the countermeasure concept of swarm against UAV swarms, expanding the defense capability of fixed-wing UAVs on the basis of the original defense and control of rotary-wing UAVs. The product is suitable for all-round and dead-angle-free protection of key personnel, places and things in urban environment.

Robots have been widely used in structured scenarios, however, in unstructured environments, perceptual understanding and autonomous capabilities are still limited. To address this problem, the team developed RobotRover, an autonomous robot system for unstructured scenes, with three subsystems: a big data cloud service platform, an intelligent algorithm platform, and an intelligent sensor suite. Team members have continuously improved the robot’s autonomous capability and intelligence for the full working conditions, all-weather and all-terrain nonstructural scenarios faced by the robot, and have achieved autonomous original core technologies such as autonomous unmanned system architecture, complex scene perception, accurate positioning, and adaptive intelligent navigation.

Introduction of the Competition

The 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is the most influential university dual-innovation event covering all colleges and universities in China, which is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and 11 central government agencied and local provincial governments.

With the theme of “dare to imagine and innovate”, this competition focuses on the special point of the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the strategic starting point of entering a new stage of development, and the special location of holding the competition in the old revolutionary area for the first time, and focuses on the objectives of “more Chinese, more international, more educational, more comprehensive and more innovative”. The goal of the competition is to achieve full coverage of participation from mainland institutions, full coverage of participation from all educational levels, and basic coverage of participation from the top 100 universities in the world.

The future belongs to the youth and hope is in the youth. In the road of innovation and entrepreneurship, the youth continue to struggle, to live up to the times!
