On December 24, the 2020 Science and Technology Award Conference and the 3rd (enlarged) Meeting of the 9th Board of Directors of China Instrument and Control Society were held in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The 2020 Science and Technology Award of China Instrument and Control Society was presented at the conference, the project "Virtual-Real Fusion Transient Interference Precision Measurement Technology and Application of Complex Surface “applied by Professor Hao Qun's team of School of Optics and Photonics, Beijing Institute of Technology won the first prize of technological invention.

After 15 years of joint research by industry, university, research and application, a new principle of virtual-real fusion partial compensation digital Moire Interferometry is proposed for the first time in the world, and a partial compensation method for generating complex surface reference wavefront by modulation, a non-linear two-step carrier digital moire phase-shifting phase extraction method, and a precise measurement method for surface error and surface parameter error based on optimal partial compensation of aberration are invented. Compared with the same kind of advanced products abroad, the measurement accuracy of surface shape error is increased by 1.5 times, which fills the international blank of the interference measurement instrument for complex surface. This achievement has enhanced the level of high-precision optical manufacturing in China and achieved significant economic and social benefits.
