 Introduction 

In recent years, Beijing Institute of Technology successfully held on-campus and online programsin winter and summer seasons, attracting more than 500 studentsannually. For the summer of 2025,we will hold summer programs at both the Beijing and Zhuhai campuses of BIT, it is set to offer an array of on-campussummer programs tailored to your interests in the field of engineering, AI, management, Chinese language and culture.

【Hands-on Learning for Emerging Technologies in Electronics Engineering】

Specifically designedfor students with an engineering background. BIT provides lectures and laboratory works in cutting-edge areas such as the Artificial Intelligence of Things, Wireless Communications & Microwave, Smart Vehicles, along with Chinese language and culture practices.

Topics: Internet of Things (IoT) and AI Integration, Digital Design and Software-Defined Radio (SDR),Project-Based Learning in the field of Emerging Technologies, Chinese Language and Culture, Culture Tours

【Frontiers of Materials Science for Renewable Energy】

During the summer school, students will be provided with comprehensive exploration opportunities in frontiers of materials science within the field of renewable energy. Through participation in lectures and laboratory practices, students will acquire fundamental knowledge and experimental skills in the field.

【Aesthetics of Traditional Chinese Culture and Classical Chinese Humanities】

Join the BIT community this summer to gain new perspectives on traditional Chinese culture through a variety of courses in art practice, art appreciation, literature, philosophy and so much more. This program has been designed to expand your mind, inspire curiosity, and facilitate discovery.

Topics: Guqin Appreciation，Ikebana, Tea Ceremony, Incense Appreciation, Experience of Chinese Art and Literature, Stories Behind Chinese Characters, Appreciation of Chinese Poetry, Overview of Ancient Chinese Philosophy, Chinese Etiquette Culture, Chinese Science Fictions

【Chinese Kung fu】

Directed by professional coach, world Tai chi champion, Huifang QIU, the program will give technical and tactical instructions and provide an opportunity to play with and against other top players. Incorporating movements, breathing exercisesand meditation, Tai chi can improve your posture, breathing, concentration, and inner peace. By learning Tai chi in China, you can also gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and philosophy.

【Chinese Language and Multicultural Practice】

Open to anyone interested in learning Mandarin and exploring the Chinese way of life. You will study alongside peers from various cultural and academic backgrounds and gain firsthand experience of Chinese culture.

【Artificial Intelligence】

This program is an academic exchange and practical innovation program that brings together students from all over the world, focusing on the cutting - edge fields of artificial intelligence. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Integrated Circuits Center and the well-known Chinese enterprises such as Kingsoft, Huawei and Tencent and understand the application of artificial intelligence technology in actual industry and product development.

【The Innovation Energy】

The Innovation EnergyProgram aiming to provide an immersive learning experience examines emerging technologies, policies, economics, and management practices that will transform how we obtain, distribute, store, and use energy. Students are expected to get a clear picture of the comprehensive energy and sustainability landscape in manufacturing. Students in this program also will experience the Chinese language and Chinese culture activities.

【Global Leadership】

This program aims to enhance participants’ international perspectives and leadership skills through a series of meticulously planned activities and visits to the big well-known Chinese enterprises such as Tencent, Kingsoft, Huawei, Gree, etc.Students in this program also will experience the Chinese language and Chinese culture activities.

Topics: Global Leadership and Strategies; Management Communication; Corporate Governance and Compliance under International Legal Frameworks; Strategic Planning and Leadership Development in the Age of AI

【Chinese Language-Cantonese and Multicultural Practice】

Combining its the location advantages, this program is specifically designed to provide international students with an in-depth and immersive learning experience, enabling them to not only learn the Chinese language but also deeply understand the rich and diverse Cantonese culture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Topics: Spoken Cantonese; Chinese Traditional Handcraft Practice; Chinese Calligraphy and Painting; Lingnan Culture Tours; Cultural Experience (Kungfu Tea; Lion Dance)

1. All the programs will be conducted in English.

2.If there are fewer than 10 students participating in the program, the program will be cancelled.

| Visa |

Students admitted to the programs must apply for an X2 visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate, using the electronic DQ form and admission letter provided by BIT.
