Third Order Upwind Schemes for Convection Equations

  • Received Date:1998-03-30
  • Aim To construct a third order upwind scheme for convection equation. Methods Upwind Lagrange interpolation was used. Results and Conclusion The schemes L p stability for p∈ is proved. Numerical examples show that performance of the third order upwind scheme is better than that of most second order schemes.
