Project description
The CIPnet project is implemented in China as a Joint action and its general objective is promoting the modernization and harmonization of Intellectual Property Management practices in the higher education system, with a view to enhance university-industry collaborations and contribute to economic and social development.
CIPnet Contact Point at Beijing Institute of Technology
CIPnet Contact Point established at Beijing Institute of Technology, is the office of the CIPnet project at Beijing Institute of Technology.
Tasks of CIPnet Contact Point
-Maintaining and managing the China Intellectual Property Management Network at Beijing Institute of Technology
-Promotion and dissemination of the China Intellectual Property Management Network
-Dissemination of the relevant materials such as project publications, reports etc.
-Dissemination of information on the project activities such as Online Trainings, Replication Workshops, CIPnet Launch Event and Final Conference
-Networking activities aimed at enrolment of the new members to the Network
-Detection of IP experts and encouraging them to join the Network
-Detection of good practices in IP management and Technology Transfer at universities and other research institutions, describing such practices and sharing them within the Network
-Organization of the workshops, trainings, conferences, round tables and other events related to IP management
-Providing advice on IP management and Technology Transfer to students and researchers from home university
