    Research and Teaching Interest

Our research is focus on vehicle transmission dynamics in virtual environment, hydro-viscous drive and lightweight design of complex structure. In virtual environment, the method of dynamics model is researched based on the assembly model. Contact dynamics and Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics are used to build the gear transmission and hydrodynamic transmission, shifting clutch model separately. The graphics rendering and simulation is in real time, more than that, the model is modified by interaction method to validate the design in real time. The research of hydro-viscous drive is focus on the hydro-viscous clutch to broaden the speed range and the stability of speed, where the design method is obtained to meet the performance requirement of fan clutch, and more energy is saved. The light-weight structural design is researched in the fields of load acquisition, the dynamics property and sensitivity analysis of architectural features, with the aim of light-weight structure design to meet the demands of dynamics performance.
