the ICEM16 (the 16th International Conference on Experimental Mechanics, ICEM16) took place in Cambridge University, UK the 7th- 11thJuly 2014.Prof. Pengwan Chen and PhD student Han Liu attended this conference.
Prof. Pengwan Chen gave an oral talk with the title “Application of high-speed DIC in dynamic deformation and failure of materials”. PhD student Mr Han Liu gave an oral talk with the title "Experimental study on deformation and rupture of thin metal plates with pre-cracks subjected to dynamic loading”.
