MSc in Informatics of University of Reading

Since the foundation of the program in 2006, this innovative MSc program, accredited by the University of Reading (UoR) and approved by the Ministry of Education ( China ), has been delivered in 2007 in Beijing in collaboration withBeijing Institute of Technologyfor over three year. The program has owned great prestige in China . From 2009 the UoR and BIT begin to negotiate further cooperation on MBA and EMBA programs.

About The Courses

The MSc informatics aims to provide a cutting edge interdisciplinary education between the two most popular disciplines: business and information management and balance international themes and local relevance. It combines theories, methods and techniques for the creation, management and utilisation of information in organisational and business contexts, enabling students to design, implement and evaluate information services for organisations. It is suitable for those who wish to pursue further career development in information intensive organisations, which require the strategic application of technologies and methods to support operations and decision making. Graduates are well equipped to become competent information specialist, consultant, or managers in the fields of business and management, information systems for business intelligence, and knowledge management.
