Introduction

Qingan Qiu is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Management & Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology. He has been engaged in the research of system reliability and operations management. He has published more than 50 SCI/SSCI indexed papers in flagship journals in the field of reliability engineering, and 3 papers are selected as ESI highly cited papers. He has presided over/participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He is also a youth member of the Reliability Branch of the Chinese Society of Operations Research, and a director of the Industrial Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for the Study of Optimal Methodology and Economic Mathematics. He is the guest editor of several SCI indexed journals.
