Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2022 the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology key laboratory list. Our school, as a lead unit, won the approval of "Key laboratory of digital economy and policy intelligent of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ". Chinese Academy of Engineering academician Chen Xiaohong serves as director of the academic committee, and Professor Wang Zhaohua as director of the Laboratory. The Laboratory has more than 50 core scientific research backbone members, including over 10 national level academic talents and outstanding young talents .

The Laboratory mainly relies on three first-level disciplines of management science and engineering, business administration and applied economics, and integrates with first-level disciplines such as computer science and technology and mechanical engineering. It focuses on systematic research on the key scientific issues of digital economy and policy intelligence. The main research interests include: theory and method of scientific decision-making of digital economy driven by technology, intelligent operation system of digital economy driven by scene, data element allocation and digital governance optimization, and intelligent modeling and application of policies based on digital technology. The Laboratory aims to deeply integrate digital technology with modern management, economy and other theories, and put forward new theories, new methods and new policies in the digital era. It is committed to building a research platform for the major strategic needs of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a high-end think tank that serves the scientific decision-making of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, an innovation team in the field of digital economy and policy intelligence, and a talent training base to serve the economic and social development.
