The 3rd International Student Culture Festival

On April 18, 2019, the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology held the third International Student Cultural Festival and the International Student Association's re-election ceremony on the second floor of the main building.More than 100 students from 18 countries including China, Belarus, Cameroon, Chile, Cuba, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Laos, Peru, Russia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan, Tanzania, Mongolia, Thailand, and Ukraine participated in the event. During the Cultural Festival, Director Wang Huaiyu of the Graduate Teaching Center hosted the event.

In the booth area carefully arranged byvariouscountries, in addition to a wide range of traditional costumes, national crafts, vocal songs and dances, there are also delicious dishes.Through the multi-faceted and multi-angle interpretation and interpretation of the cultural atmosphere of the country, the international students have attracted many teachers and students to visit and exchange. This cultural festival has been a complete success.

The event was initiated by Professor Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, to build a platform for cross-cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign students.Through this International Student Culture Festival, we actively promoted the exchanges between Chinese and foreign studentsonthe national culture, geographical environment, and festival customs of our countries, and created a rich and colorful campus international cultural life.At the same time, it further enhanced the sense of belonging of international students, and promoted their further integration into the big family of the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology, helping theconstruction of atopinternationaluniversity.
