In order to further strengthen research, to encourage more teachers to apply for the National Natural Science Foundation with high-quality projects, SME has set up "Young Teachers Innovation Fund." The Fund aims to inspire the teachers, especially young teachers’ enthusiasm engaged in basic research, and further create a strong basic research atmosphere.
Application requirements:
1, applicants are Beijing Institute of Technology School of Management and Economics in-service teachers (including full-time post-doctoral), under the age of 40 years (born after 1 January 1971);
2, priorities given to young teacher receiving no funding from the National Natural Science Foundation, and National Social Science Fund,
3, research topic not limited. Study period of six months (October 2011, March 2012),
4, "young teachers Innovation Fund" set up 10 awards, each of 6,000 yuan.
5, two copies of the application form (front and back print) submitted to the Research and Academic Exchange Center before September 15, 2011. The application can be downloaded from the school website. A funding list will be announced on September 30.
6, funded teachers must submit a concluding report (including an electronic version) to the research and academic exchange center on March 30, 2012.
