The School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology established the “Econometrics Methodology and Data Analysis Research Center” in September 2018. The Center invited Professor Li Wei, a world-renowned econometrician, to serve as Honorary Director, and extensively carry out international and domestic academic studies under the School of Management and Economics. The Center aims to built a comprehensive platform for exchange and cooperation, explore econometric frontier theory and data analysis methods, regularly hold academic forums and workshops on econometrics and data analysis methods, enhance the ability of young teachers and graduate students to conduct quantitative theoretical research and empirical research. The first phase of the econometric analysis methods workshop will be held during the semester for a period of three months. The specific arrangements are as follows:
