XuTeli School /School of Future and Technologies are important bases and experimental zone for the BIT's top-notch student cultivation. We have special classes for the national student cultivation program, such as Future and Technologies Class, XuTeli Ying Cai Class (including characteristic discipline classes), Top-notch Student Training in Basic Disciplines Program 2.0, and Strengthening Basic Disciplines Program.


- Future and Technologies Class

School of Future and Technologies, BIT (SFTs)aims at the key core technology in the field of "Intelligent Unmanned +", adhering to the concept of " Morality, Creation, Education, Truth", innovating cultivation concept and teaching model, strengthening mathematical foundation and advanced technology, focusing on cultivating top-notch innovative leaders in the field of intelligent unmanned systems and platforms that are full of patriotism and responsibility, persistent, forward, critical, subversive thinking, and solid interdisciplinary academic foundations.

Xu Teli Yingcai Class adopts the community-based cultivation method to construct a top-notch innovative talent cultivation mode with the joint undergraduate and graduate program. Adhering to the cultivation concept of "Morality and Spirits, Liberal Academics, Experts and Education, Self-Driving", Xu Teli Yingcai class aims to cultivate the leading talents who have made progress in civilization, promoted the great rejuvenation of the nation, and played a decisive role in major scientific discoveries and decision-making on major scientific and engineering issues.

- Top-notch Student Training in Basic Disciplines Program 2.0

Top-notch Student Training in Basic Disciplines Program 2.0 aims to cultivate top-notch students in basic disciplines. In 2019, BIT was approved as a cultivating base for top-notch students in Computer Science Program. It combines general education with individualized education, information technology application innovation education, and science and technology education, aiming to cultivate geeks who can crack millennium problems in the field of computer science.


In 2021, BIT was approved as a cultivation base for top-notch students in Mathematics Program, focusing on the research of mathematics and applied mathematics, and taking artificial intelligence-related issues as the traction to carry out personality training and elite education.



- Strengthening Basic Disciplines Program

Strengthening Basic Disciplines Program is a pilot program for the enrollment reform of basic disciplines to serve the country's major strategic needs and strengthen the selection and training of top-notch innovative students.


Currently, we have five majors in engineering mechanics, mathematics and applied mathematics, applied physics, chemistry, and intelligent unmanned systems. The program implements a tutor system, formulates a cultivation plan personalized, adopts separate and small classes, establishes a corresponding scientific, multi-stage dynamic entry and exit mechanism, and explores the establishment of a training model for joint undergraduate and graduate programs.
